We’ve had a busy May Day weekend at Stowford, it was lovely to see the sunshine and so many people out enjoying themselves!
With the Practical Caravan reader rally taking place there were lots of activities and entertainment on offer, but as many people have remarked the site did not feel crowded, and those who wanted to just relax and enjoy the peaceful Devon countryside were able to do just that.
It was a rather wet start to the weekend but luckily the sun came out right on queue, and all the planned activities went ahead in the nice dry weather: Ferret racing, Morris dancing, sheepdog displays, Waggy-tail competition etc. Here are some of our photos from the Reader rally…
The practical caravan team have uploaded some more pictures of the weekend to their facebook page.
And the Caravan Channel were filming here over the weekend so watch out for Stowford on caravanchannel.co.uk
We’ve still got spaces for the next Bank holiday at Half Term – book your pitch here!
