The highest priority for most families when choosing a camping or caravan site are the bathroom facilities. At Stowford Farm Meadows in North Devon each touring field has its own spacious, modern amenity block with laundry facilities attached. There is also a separate disabled and family area close to Reception where even more privacy is available.
Bridge Park (Field 5) benefits from under-floor heating in the colder months and also has its own disabled and family bathroom facilities. Barn Park (Field 1) and Bull’s Field (Field 2) have recently been upgraded and Broad Meadow (Field 3) has undergone extensive refurbishment as part of our continued investment programme. And the most recent refurbishment has taken place in Great Western Park (Field4) where we have improved the toilets, showers and laundry room, and added a large vanity area. We have also added separate disabled facilities in this block.
All season long we put great effort into keeping our shower and toilet facilities spotlessly clean and well-maintained But don’t just take our word for it, see what people are saying online:
“…The big plus on this site was the toilet facilities. We were all impressed. Spotlessly clean, lovely and warm and plenty of cubicles” Trip Advisor – 22nd November 2017
“…Washing and shower facilities are spotless and are as good as any I’ve had at a hotel” Trip Advisor 24th August 2017
“…The shower toilet block was immaculate and water was plentiful and very warm as was the wash up area” Trip Advisor 5th May 2017
The broader context for this development involves the installation of a new environmentally-friendly Biomass boiler system which will provide Stowford’s heating and hot water enabling us to be less reliant on gas and oil and therefore help to reduce our carbon footprint.
