Dave is a fully qualified driving instructor with many years of experience. He offers a varied and enjoyable course that is run through his well-established business which comes with a good reputation and a genuinely high pass rate. Dave will work closely with you and create a customer designed course to suit your exact needs along with offering one-to-one courses if you want the privacy of learning alone.

What’s Involved in the Course?

Dave’s courses run over 3 hours (this can be extended if needed) and he covers everything you’ll ever need to know about caravan towing, including:
• Coupling and uncoupling your van
• Weight distribution and advice on loading
• Driving on all types of roads – from motorways to country lanes
• Multi terrain driving and overtaking
• Reversing in a straight line
• Reversing around corners and parking
• Covering the laws of towing
• Basic maintenance of your vehicle
• Keeping your vehicle roadworthy and legal
• How to set up on a campsite

Leave the M5 at junction 27, then follow North Devon Link Road A362 to Barnstaple then A39 (for Lynton) through Barnstaple town centre. One mile from Barnstaple turn left onto B3230. Turn right at the garage, at Lynton Cross, onto the A3123. Stowford Farm Meadows is 1½ miles on the right, down its own private drive.
