This year’s Open Weekend turned out to be one of our best ever events thanks to all the exhibitors and of course everyone who came to be part of the fun! We wanted to share some of the photos we got from the weekend, and thank everyone who donated to the North Devon Chemotherapy Appeal – we raised well over £200 for this worthy cause.
We were serving a free BBQ as well as drinks, doughnuts and ice cream – we went through 1120 doughnuts, 82 pints of milk and 1500 cups! Tuesday Syndicate Band provided musical entertainment on Saturday and we had great reports about their show.
As usual the Tiverton Town band entertained us on the Sunday afternoon, we always look forward to their visit. Among the exhibitors at the show this year were: Magician James Hawker (catch him at the Open weekend in South Wales too!) , Retro Tourer, Cracking Nuts, Devon Custom Trimming, Liz the Crafty Piglet, Combe Martin school and Pre-school, Valk Trailers, Vintage Bikes, Stationary engines, Satellite Dome and Solar Panels, Trupets, North Devon felts, Taw Ford, Trelawny tents, Wooden crafts, Safeguard insurance, Vintage tractors, Vango awnings, Lets Play UK, Lush Charity, North Devon Classic Car Club, Jay the Clown, Powrtouch Motormovers, Caravan Care, 1944 Military GMC, and of course the Fire Engine from Combe Martin fire station.
The main attraction was the new Bailey Unicorn Series 3 which proved extremely popular – some say Bailey’s best caravan yet! And as usual our fantastic range of newly converted VW T5 Campervans attracted a lot of attention – these are now on their way up to South Wales for their Open Weekend on 27th and 28th September.
