Winter tips

With the 2013 season coming to a close we hope you will find the following tips useful when putting your caravan to bed for the winter!

The results of frost and freezing damage to pipes and taps can be costly so we would highly recommend doing a drain down before the onset of winter. You may be pleased to know that the Workshop offer a drain down service, please telephone for details on 01271 883335.

Moisture mates can help to keep damp at bay but we would recommend that they are left in a sink or shower tray to avoid spillages which may result in damage to carpets or upholstery.

We would recommend that customers disconnect gas bottles and batteries when the caravan is in storage.

Mice are often looking for somewhere warm and dry to spend the winter; it is therefore wise to block up any areas where they are likely to gain access, especially the wastewater outlets!
